Chairman, Rick has over 31 years experience as a professional engineer and is currently President of W. R. Toole Engineers, Inc. He has over 30 years of volunteer experience with a variety of State and National Engineering Associations. He has served on numerous committees, as President of the Board of Directors and currently serves as the National Director of ACEC Georgia.
Trustee, Gregg has been in the consulting engineering industry for over 33 years, including 30 years at Leonard Rice Engineers, Inc., where he currently serves as CEO. He has served on numerous committees, on the Board, and as President and National Director of ACEC Colorado. He also served as the Chair of the Steering Committee of the ACEC Small Firm Council.
Trustee, Rose has 35 years experience as a professional engineer and is president of EMCS, Inc., which she founded in 1983. She has served on numerous ACEC State and National committees, including the ACEC Transportation Steering Committee.
Trustee, Heath has over 15 years of experience in the civil engineering and construction industries. He currently serves as CEO of Engineering Associates, where he has worked for the past 10 years. Heath has also served on the Board of Directors and several committees for ACEC Wyoming, and was recently appointed Secretary/Treasurer for the state organization.
Trustee, Ellen has 30 years of engineering experience and is currently a principal and member of the board of directors at Alan Plummer Associates, Inc. where she has been for the last 17 years. Ellen is a nationally-recognized water resources expert and has served on a number of committees and boards for professional organizations that serve the water industry.
Trustee, Chuck has over 30 years experience as a professional engineer. As a Partner and Director for Kier and Wright Civil Engineers and Land Surveyors in Northern California, he and his firm have been active in ACEC and multiple land development organizations in Northern California for the past 20 years.
Pat is a 30-year veteran of executive healthcare management. He has been the ACEC Life/Health Trust’s President for over 10 years. Previous executive management positions in healthcare included Senior Vice President and Executive Director of Bravo Health Texas, a Medicare Advantage Health Plan, President of The Feyen Group, a healthcare consulting firm specializing in executive management positions, and President and CEO for PacifiCare of Texas and Oklahoma. Pat has also served as President of the Texas Association of Health Plans.
Gary joined the Trust in 2010 as a consultant, serving in a business development role to identify options and alternatives to create new value propositions to member firms. In October 2011, Gary became a full-time employee of the Trust, overseeing the development and successful launch of the Select and Advantage Plans. Prior to the Trust, he was the Market President with Humana Inc. in the DFW metroplex. In addition to his extensive Health Plan experience, Gary has held executive management positions with two large organizations in the medical device industry. He is also a licensed life and health insurance agent and serves on several non-profit community Boards, including the DFW Business Group on Health, Southwest Benefits Group and Health Underwriters.
Scott joined the Trust in November 2014 and has over 19 years of healthcare experience. He came to the Trust from Amerigroup Kansas, an Anthem Company, where he served as the Director of Finance for the Kansas Medicaid health plan. Prior to Amerigroup, he served as the Finance Director for LHP Hospital Group and as a Director of Capital Management for Triad Hospitals. He began his healthcare career working in Internal Audit for Tenet Healthcare Corporation in 1997.
Daniel joined the Trust in 2016. He came to the Trust from BlueCross BlueShield of Texas where he worked in Underwriting for 5 years. Prior to joining the healthcare industry, he worked 15 years at Texas Instruments. He studied at University of Texas at Dallas with a Bachelor of Science in Finance.
Rex joined the Trust in June 2017 with over 10 years of accounting and finance experience. He
previously spent 2 years as a Senior Financial Analyst for Alkami Technologies, a FinTech company as well as 3 years at Children’s Medical Center of Dallas. Prior to that, he spent time finishing his MBA in Finance from the University of North Texas while working in accounting and finance for local government.
“Coach” Oscar offers over 17 years of experience in Health, Fitness, and Wellness and brings that understanding to the Designed Wellness Team. His background in Health and Safety with UPS as well as Customer Service management combined with years as an independent fitness professional complement the Trust team. He joined in July 2017.
Lana studied Advertising at the University of Oklahoma where she graduated with a degree from the Gaylord College of Journalism and Mass Communications. She joined the Trust in 2010 and was instrumental in the development and successful launch of the Select Plan and Advantage Plan, as well as Designed Wellness, the Trust’s strategic initiative on Wellness. Lana is a licensed life and health insurance agent.
Lindsay joined the Trust in May 2012 and successfully launched the Designed Wellness program in July, 2012. She has her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Illinois in Health Planning and Administration with a minor in Chemistry, as well as her Masters of Arts Degree from Ball State University in Wellness Management and Business. Lindsay is a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) and a licensed life and health insurance agent.
Caprina brings more than 12 years of health insurance experience to her post as Strategic Account Executive for the ACEC Life/Health Trust. She joined The Trust in July of 2015 and is responsible for managing health plans for member firms. Caprina holds a Master’s in Business Administration, a Charted Benefit Consult (CBC) designation, and is a licensed life and health insurance agent.
Julie has 17 years of experience in Business Management, HR and Executive Administrative Support. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Family Studies from Texas Woman’s University. She joined ACEC Life/Health Trust in June 2016 and serves as administrative lead to the Trust’s President, Board of Trustees and staff.
